Today, I’m thrilled to share with you the results of our 4th Annual Photo Contest. Almost 200 photos were submitted by photographers throughout Waterloo Region of all ages and skill levels. We received photos of families, local artwork, sustainable action, iconic local buildings, and key representations of our community and culture.
The goal of the contest was to build community and profile the things about the Waterloo Region environment and our culture that make us so proud. The photos submitted will also be used to enhance our 2012 Report. Check out SWR’s past reports here. The 2012 Report will be released at Sustainable Waterloo Region’s Evening of Recognition on April 18th.
