Sustainable Waterloo Region is an independent, social enterprise non-profit that works to build community and create an equitable, prosperous, low carbon future. Our work focuses on the business and organization sector of our community as well as the overall community impact. We strive to make transformational as well as incremental change in the areas of GHG emissions, waste reduction, water stewardship, mobility and low-impact transportation, and new and retrofitted green buildings. We are funded through our program fees as well as the generous grassroots support of our local community and individuals just like you. We are able to do this work with a team of staff, as well as many many volunteers, who bring their time and talent to our work every day.
We are incredibly grateful for all gifts. As a non-profit rather than a registered charity, we are unable to offer tax receipts for any donation. However, your support of Sustainable Waterloo Region will be recognized on our website, through social media and in our annual reporting and celebration activities. Thank you for your support.
