The Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) is an independent, non partisan think tank on international governance. Led by experienced practitioners and distinguished academics, CIGI supports research, forms networks, advances policy debate and generates ideas for multilateral governance improvements. Conducting an active agenda of research, events and publications, CIGI’s interdisciplinary work includes collaboration with policy, business and academic communities around the world.

Building Efficiency & Landscape Upgrade: Moved into the re-appropriated Seagram Distillery, adding several features that improve the energy efficiency of the building by 50% compared to non-LEED buildings. Incorporated green roofs, an underground cistern for landscape irrigation of the CIGI Campus and 72 trees planted on CIGI Campus, in addition to shrubs and other landscape features.
Sleep Mode: To reduce energy waste of idling computers throughout the building, staff is asked to turn off their monitors when not in use and turn off computers during non-working hours.
