Local Associations

emergeGuelph EV Ambassadors Club

At eMERGE we are working hard to “normalize” EV use in a way that engages a broader part of our community. We need to be speaking to much more than the environmentally committed – like you. We also want to find ways that make people laugh but take us seriously. Climate change is serious business, but we need to find joy along the way.

EV Society – Golden Horseshoe Chapter

The Golden Horseshoe chapter (formerly GHEVA) serves the Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, and Niagara regions. With over 100 members⁄subscribers, we work with various community and environmental groups at outreach and education events to share the EV experience and to accelerate the transition to EVs. Our meetings and events are open to curious EV novices and industry experts alike.

Plug N’ Drive EV Owners Club

The EV Owners Club is set to learn from and support owners of all electric vehicle brands. We are not a replacement for your regional EV association or club and we encourage you to join your regional club to meet other owners in your area.

Waterloo Region Electric Vehicle Association (WREVA)

The Waterloo Region Electric Vehicle Association (WREVA) is the EV owners group in Waterloo Region that actively promotes electric vehicles. We collaborate with WREVA on a number of events and activities. An example is the National Drive Electric Week (NDEW), WREVA leads the organization and we closely collaborate with them to promote and ensure the success of the event. In 2017, more than 400 people attended the event held at Kitchener City Hall.
