Wood Rescue is a local wood recycling company that is making a significant impact on reducing wood waste in Waterloo Region. Their mission is simple yet powerful: divert wood from landfills and keep it in circulation. Wood Rescue is dedicated to reducing the amount of wood waste that ends up in the landfill by either converting recycled wood into their own products or selling it back to the community, contributing to both the local economy and sustainability.

So far, Wood Rescue has saved over 3,250 pounds of wood from the landfill, and this is just the beginning of their journey!
