Recently joining the network, Impact Events Group is a full-service event company that produces high-profile events such as the Kitchener Ribfest and Craft Beer Show, and the Cambridge Ribfest and Craft Beer Show!
As part of their commitment to sustainability, Impact Events Group has led many green initiatives. In 2016, #KWRibfest launched a Green Waste Initiative, focusing on waste reduction and increasing waste diversion rates through recycling and composting. Their dedication has resulted in remarkable achievements, with over 50% of public waste diverted from landfills by 2017, and a 72% diversion rate in 2024! The same waste reduction goals are set for #CambridgeRibfest, aiming for a 90% diversion by 2027.
As part of their ongoing commitment to social responsibility, Impact Events Group also ensures that all staff members are paid for their hard work. No volunteers are involved at Ribfest—every team member is compensated for the value they bring to the event.
