We kicked off 2025 with a bang at our first event of the year—Climate Fresk Games Day! If you thought climate education was all about lectures and endless stats, you were in for a surprise. The interactive card game brought climate science to life in a fun, hands-on, and engaging way.
Here’s how it worked: two teams of players connected 42 cards, each representing a different element of climate science, from carbon emissions to ecosystem impacts. As the game progressed, participants worked together to uncover how these elements are interconnected, ultimately creating a visual map of climate change. It was a perfect blend of strategy, collaboration, and real-world issues—and there were plenty of laughs along the way!
We are excited to keep the momentum going. If you attended and loved the experience, consider taking it a step further by becoming a Climate Fresk facilitator. Whether you want to host your own Games Day or bring this interactive experience to your community, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
If you’re interested in becoming a Climate Fresk facilitator, or if you would like to request a workshop for your group, please feel free to reach out to Kriti or Dorothy.
Let’s work together to make climate education both fun and impactful for everyone.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at our first Games Day—here’s to many more events, new facilitators, and game-changing climate education. Learn more about Climate Fresk here!
