Tri-Mach Group (TMG) is Sustainable Waterloo Region’s newest member of the Impact Network, joining as an Observing Organization!

As a member, they become connected to an extensive network of like-minded organizations to share and learn best practices. Members in our network have invested in better understanding the impacts of their operations on environmental sustainability. They use program resources to build a culture of sustainability among employees, and to engage employees as sustainability advocates while also adapting policy and reducing impact through realistic sustainability targets.

“Having TMG as part of the sustainable business community in Waterloo region and beyond is another step towards a clean and low carbon economy,” said Tova Davidson, Executive Director of Sustainable Waterloo Region. “We are excited to work with another member of our advanced manufacturing sector to demonstrate the business benefits of sustainability.”

Headquartered out of Elmira, TMG is a full-service, multi-trade solution provider for manufacturing, facility upgrade, and integration needs.  With a commitment to corporate social responsibility, Tri-Mach participates in green initiatives, gives back to the community, supports employee well-being, and hosts social events. In their short time as members, they have already shared data, and we are on track to establishing a baseline for them to progress in target setting to reduce their impacts further.

“Supporting our community and environment have always been top priorities at TMG” said Chief Executive Officer, Krystal Darling. “We are thrilled to join the creative and insightful network of green-forward companies within Sustainable Waterloo Region, to further develop our impact as a leading company in sustainability.”

For over thirty-five years, TMG has been building innovative solutions for customers within the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and agricultural industries. We look forward to watching them grow their culture of sustainability and explore more sustainable practices through the Impact Network.

We are thrilled to have such a vital community organization join the other 90+ organizations working towards more sustainable operations in and around Waterloo Region, and we can’t wait to see what their first year of membership brings.
