If you’re looking around our website and notice that something is looking a little different–that’s because it is! Sustainable Waterloo Region officially has a new website, new branding, new names for some of our programs, and even changes to our social media channels! After a year in the making and a lot of hard work from our talented team, we’re excited to finally release SWR’s rebrand to the public.
We sat down with our Executive Director, Tova and our Communications Team Manager, Liz, who helped make this rebrand a reality, to find out what they liked the most about our rebrand process. Here’s what they had to say about it:
“We’re doing a rebrand because we are greater than the sum of our parts, and this new brand reinforces that both in terms of our brand but also how we work. This project has also re-aligned everyone in the organization! We are one family of tools that helps to create a stronger clean economy, and the connections the rebrand has created between our programs and projects are inspiring.” – Tova Davidson, Executive Director
“We’re pleased to release our new brand (and website!) in celebration of Earth Day. Don’t worry: our mandate is the same. We’re committed to helping the local business community and our newly expanded catchment area as a whole (Hi, Wellington County) become more environmentally and economically sustainable – just now with a fresh logo and new look. A special thanks to the entire volunteer team who made this rebrand possible – it was truly a rewarding experience to be a part of this project.” – Liz Dirksen, Communications Team Manager
