In 2018 Sustainable Waterloo Region had 11,883 hours logged by 116 volunteers! That’s HUGE. Volunteers are the backbone of non-profit organizations and are woven into the fabric of SWR. April 19-25, 2020 was National Volunteer Week but 7 days wasn’t enough time to celebrate our amazing volunteers, we spent all of May showcasing some of the individuals that volunteer their time, their skills and their passion to make SWR the organization it is. Whether it is keeping the books in order or solving technical problems, our volunteers help us deliver sustainable action to our members and community each and every day.
