We are happy to introduce our first volunteer profile, Yvonne Stoll! This profile is the start of a new series called Faces of SWR, where readers get to learn about all the amazing volunteers that help SWR tick.
Outside of SWR, Yvonne is a full-time mother and Business Operations Manager, and part-time student completing her last courses for her HR certificate. In the fall she can be found at her teen’s football game, and at rugby games in the spring. As an adult looking to broaden her experience, Yvonne joined SWR’s HR team to get practical HR experience. She had been involved by helping us with health and safety policies, so when an HR position came up it was the perfect fit. Since joining, Yvonne has found a love for meeting and connecting with the talented individuals that work and volunteer with SWR.
And we love to have her, as well. Yvonne is always going above and beyond and delivers more than what is expected. She is involved in the hiring process from job descriptions to job offers, and has a smile on her face while doing it. Since Yvonne has joined the team, we are securing candidates in hard to fill roles easier than ever. She has also improved our coop hiring process, bringing a more positive experience to all staff and students involved.
We are so happy to have Yvonne on our team, and that she is the face that new volunteers and staff get to see.
