Sustainable Waterloo Region hires our volunteers using the process below to ensure that there is a strong fit between the individual, the role and the organization:

Candidates that seem to be a good fit for the role, will be asked to join us for an interview with the hiring Functional Area Manager and a member of our HR Team. Our interviews focus on ensuring that potential volunteers fit with our culture and that we’re matching a volunteer with the right role to meet his/her goals and ours.
* Due to the nature of our volunteer roles we ask that you apply to a specific position (or multiple, if applicable) that is posted as opposed to submitting a general expression of interest. We are always happy to answer any questions you have though.
